The Tortoise and Hare Bar and Grille is more interesting than most places to eat or hangout in Crystal City. They have an interesting selection on their menu that offers more than any normal bar.  The Tortoise and Hare Bar and Grille also has some pretty cool weekly events going on like karaoke night, video game night, DJs, and live music sometimes.

The food is pretty darn good.  They have everything from seafood to steak and even fish tacos .  I have had many items on their menu but I will only talk about my favorites.  The jerk chicken wings are my number one.   The jerk wings smothered in jerk seasoning, grilled and served with pineapple barbecue sauce.  These wings are amazing they have always been loaded with flavor and when dipped into the pineapple barbecue sauce they taste even better.  The blackened salmon is my favorite entree and it come with my favorite sided dish their roasted new potatoes which are yummy.  The fish has always been cooked good and the spices provide a great flavor for your mouth.  Last but not least are their fish tacos which rival Tacklebox’s but fall just a little short as the seasoning is not as good. More than half of their menu is under 10 dollars which makes the food all that much better.

So if you live or are bored in the Crystal city area the Tortoise and Hare Bar and Grille is definitely worth checking out.
