Giving us a new way to explore restaurants and bars is Clever Sense’s concierge app called Alfred. Originally intended to be labeled as Seymour (with a projected launch date of today), the Standford PH.D team gave a test run with Alfred on the App Store and received a good amount of traction. With the old saying, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”, Clever Sense decided to run with Alfred.
As seen in the clip below, Alfred asks that you “teach” it where you enjoy dining and in return it will give you new recommendations. After a set of inputs, Alfred will recommend dinner, lunch and even beverage break spots contingent upon the time of the day. It doesn’t take me a whole of convincing for me to try out a new app. But for those that need some convincing, just take a look at the introduction video and glowing reviews below. Plus its free.
