Tattoo Bar DC
Tattoo Bar on K street has become a great addition to Washington D.C.. Tattoo brings an upscale rock scene that D.C. has not experienced before. I have been here a few times and I cannot get over the decor it really puts you in the mood to party. Michael Romeo Group did a great job as he has done with all of his clubs. Tattoo bar is right next to Lima as well the rest of the K st clubs which make it very accessible while club hopping.
The decor of Tattoo is pretty amazing and original for D.C.. Tattoo provides a dark rock n’ roll type theme with a modern twist. The bar is awesome as you can see from the picture above. It is almost transparent in some places as light flows through the stone like material like I have never seen before. The pictures of half naked women on the
walls and their beautiful body art provides some nice visuals along with the drop down television screen. The blue lighting mixed with a large motorcycle coming out of the wall also provides some interesting contrast to the place.
After ten o’clock all the tables become bottle service only. They have two special tables one is called the “Ink Room” which is for large groups and the “Rock Star Table” which is on the mezzanine level and lets you scope the crowd from abov
e.
The music at Tattoo bar is a mix of rock and roll and some house that provides a nice change from most of what Washington D.C. has to offer.
Overall Tattoo is one of best decorated and most original clubs in D.C. it provides something different which is why it is and will continue to be successful. So if you are ever in the downtown area stop by and have a drink. Sit back and enjoy the rock n roll scene and meet some interesting people.
