Sprinkles Cupcakes, you got me with the salty caramel cupcake!
Let me just first say that I am a fan of the show Cupcake Wars on Food Network and if you didn’t know Candice Nelson is the founder of Sprinkles Cupcakes and a judge on Cupcake Wars. She does’t mess around when it comes to cupcakes which is why I had to try Sprinkles Cupcakes.
My best friend and I were strolling through M street in Georgetown one fine day and we decided to treat ourselves to a cupcake from Sprinkles Cupcakes. Cute little shop with displays of their signature cupcakes and doggie cupcake for the furry friends. They retail Sprinkles cupcake mixes, gift cards, and Sprinkles Cupcakes apparel as well. If you are just passing by Sprinkles Cupcakes you can’t miss it because you can see right through their glass window and they are hard to resist. There were so many flavors to choose from but we were sold on the salty caramel cupcake by the name alone. We shared a cupcake because we just had lunch and the cupcake was a good size for sharing. The icing was incorporated with cream cheese and lightly sprinkled with salt on top. It was light, moist, and had the perfect combination/balance of sweet and salty. It was delicious and satisfied all my taste buds. Unfortunately these special cupcakes are not made daily but only available on certain dates so look out for them next time they decide bake them again. They have many other gourmet cupcake flavors that are baked daily and the special cupcakes are available on different days posted on their website. Check out Sprinkles Cupcakes gourmet cupcake flavors menu at www.sprinkles.com.
Book your next event at Sprinkles Cupcakes party room, where you can unwind with champagne and mini cupcakes. Contact Sprinkles Cupcakes via email: party@sprinkles.com to schedule. They also personalize cupcakes for weddings, corporate events, parties, and gifts. Order is easy because you can stop in their bakery, call, or order online for pick up or delivery.
