Situated near Tyson’s I and II, surrounded by the kingpins of government contracting, Panache is a nice lunch getaway from the office. They specialized in tapas, which is a wide variety of appetizers in Spanish cuisine, that are served both hot and cold.
I sat at the bar which seemingly comes alive with splashes of red, green and blue. I love the decor of this place, from the floors to the wall textures. Even the music selection is good and helps set the mood — “Lebanese Blonde” on Pandora if you want to hear for yourself.
I had the Risotto con Porcini e Brasato di Costole di Manzo which is Risotto of porcini mushrooms served with braised beef ribs, as seen below. The risotto and beef ribs were tender and flavorful, there was a slight sauce/broth that was in the dish that made it go down even easier.
Big shout out to Melissa, the GM, for a delicious meal!
