After brunch at J Paul’s my friends and I were looking for a place to chill and have coffee. My buddy has been to North Side before and said it was good, so we decided to check it out. We walked in and was amazed at how packed this place was. It was 2 o’clock on a Sunday, but we could hardly find a seat. However we only waited in line for a few minutes before we ordered.
The menu at Northside was pretty extensive and includes coffee, beer, wine, food, baked goods, and more. The place is full of beautiful decor and provides a wonderful atmosphere to hang out or do work. My friend and I ended up sharing a large French press that gave us about 2 cups each. Their house coffee was really good and the French press made it even better. My girlfriend got a Cafe Au Lait which is espresso with steamed milk on top. It was magnificent as well. While I was their I saw some fliers for live music on the weekends. They are actually open until 2AM on Friday and Saturday. I think it would be a nice chill place for a Friday or Saturday.
Overall Northside brings a nice element to the Arlington area. Thanks for opening Northside Social!
