A friend of mine was meeting up with me recently and asked me if I would like a bite to eat. Of course I can never refuse an offer for a free meal and I am glad I didn’t. The New York Deli in Vienna is apparently quite popular, I had never heard of it and I was really impressed. The sandwiches come on a small loaf of baked bread that is just cool.  It basically looks like they baked a 5 inch loaf , cut it in half, and used it to make your sandwich.  The bread is soft, tasty, and it my favorite part of the sandwich. I got a wheat bread turkey sandwich with peppers, spicy mustard, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles.  The ingredients were fresh and the vegetables had a nice crunch, which you don’t really get at most sandwich places.  The sandwich was pretty awesome and anyone who works in the Tyson’s area needs to check out the New York Deli.
