After an early Saturday morning basketball game Tri and I were famished and looking for something good to eat. As we were walking back we saw people sitting outside of Le Pain Qoutidien and decided to go in. First off everyone I have talked to actually thinks this place is French, it is not it’s Belgian!
OK, now that we got that out the way, I really liked this place. They have healthy and tasty food at a pretty reasonable price, with some of the best coffee I have had in while. Le Pain Qoutidien works likes Panera, you walk up order your food then when it is ready, you grab it or they bring it to you. On yelp a lot of people complained they were slow, but my food was at my table in under 7 minutes. The iced coffee which was not burnt and had just the right amount of coffee taste. For my meal I got the grilled chicken and smoked mozzarella sandwich with arugula & basil pesto. Simple and great flavors with good bread, made for a perfectly satisfying sandwich. Tri ended up getting the omelette which was also fantastic. It was fluffy and tasted great, which is not easy to do when you make hundreds a day.
Overall Le Pain Qoutidien is awesome and is my new Saturday morning breakfast spot. Check it out and let us know what you think.
