KAZ Sushi Bistro

So on this past Thursday night (8/13) Van and I headed to KAZ Sushi Bistro on 19th and I st. (eye) NW, DC.  He and I wanted to head to a place that we both knew had good quality sushi, but haven’t tried before.  So we ended up at Kaz.  Though I have eaten there, it had been years and no longer remembered anything about it.

As I was getting ready to right about them, I had to text Van and ask him what we ate.  I than realized that there isn’t really anything memorable about that place.  Yes, the food and the sushi was excellent, but nothing about it really stood out to me.  I do remember the Grilled Baby Octopus that we had as an appetizer and that’s about it.

I’m not going to go as far as to saying that it wasn’t a good experience, but I can’t say that it was fantastic.  I remember enjoying myself while there, so I will be going back at some point in time.  Hopefully I’ll be able to remember my visit the next time around.
