Fly Lounge DC
Fly Lounge is one of my favorite spots in Washington D.C.. Fly Lounge is very high class and has a very strict dress code so dress your best. Fly is not cheap either so bring some loot.
Ok on to why I like it. There is no place in D.C. where you can run into as many celebrities as I have here. It seems like every time someone famous is in D.C. they go there. I have seen Rosario Dawson, Redskins, Wizards, Ravens, Robin Thicke, The Strokes, and many more that I was probably to drunk to remember. Fly Lounge gives a real DC feel with an upper class twang. The music is always good ALWAYS! Maybe that is because it is partially owned by DJ Dirty Hands. He plays some of the best 80′s and 90′s mixes I have ever heard.
The ambiance of Fly Lounge DC is perfect its beautiful stainless steel inlays that really bring the feeling of an airplane. The plasma TVs in the window slots are even cooler. The waitress and bartenders are all dressed up like flight attendants which enhances the feel even more. I love the way they shoot the air when it gets really hot this is a great way to keep people dancing and to help stop me from sweating. Fly can get kind of crowded as it is one the best lounges in DC. So if you don’t know anyone get there early and with girls so you will actually get in. It also is kind of small so it can get kind of cramped.
Overall I give Fly Lounge a 9 out of 10. The only reason I gave it a 9 is because of the price and size. The price makes sense because it is an elite place but I just wish Fly could be a little bigger.
P.S.
The owners of Fly are planning to open a new club right across the street that will be known as Current it is supposed to be a boat theme. Keep a look out for it.
