Eyebar DC
Eyebar has been around for a long time now. It was one of the first clubs I visited in Washington D.C.. It was really cool back in 2006 when I first started clubbing and still has a pretty big following. They have been able to stay in business for almost five years which is pretty good for the DC area. It has a pretty modern feel to it that illuminates through the place. They usually have two separate DJ’s which provides added feel and different music to the floors.
Eye Bar has two floors that are similar in style and separated only by the music. They both have long bars which is great for getting drinks and posting up. They have table service with a few added luxuries such as lock boxes, a paging system for your waitress, and priority entry. One thing different about Eye Bar is that they have a Happy Hour with pretty good deals on Wednesday through Friday that runs from 5pm to 9pm with the following deals.
Happy Hour: 5PM-9PM Wednesday-Friday
$3 Beers
$4 Wine and Rail Drinks
$5 Mixed Drinks
$6 MartinisSoon they will be serving small appetizers.
On their website they have posted that they will soon be opening an outdoor patio. This patio will feature something they call Video Karaoke which sounds fun. It is nicknamed the skyebar and will be opening in a few months. Eyebar is definitely a place you should check out in D.C. it has a reasonably mixed crowd that is usually a lot of fun. I have had a lot of good times there over the years.
