I have been on a mission to try more sushi places in Arlington. Normally when I crave sushi I always end up in the city, however lately I have been eating sushi in Arlington. I was out with a friend last week in Clarendon and we decided to eat sushi. I whipped out my phone and realized we were right next to Endo Sushi. Endo is located right next to Lyon Hall on Washington Blvd, which is a couple blocks from the heart of Clarendon.
When we walked in we were immediately greeted, then seated. The inside of the Endo is decorated like your typical sushi house, simple and clean with a Japanese style. Endo Sushi has quite a large menu that includes a lot more than sushi. After a quick run through of the menu my friend and I decided to get a taste of everything. We decided to get a sampler and one of the special rolls. Each entree came with miso soup and a ginger salad, both were simple and flavorful. For our special roll we ordered the Caterpillar roll which consisted of avacado, eel, shrimp tempura, sweet sauce, and wasabi. This roll was crunchy, flavorful, and the shrimp tempura made a great roll. We also got the Sushi and Sashimi combo, which had tuna, salmon, shrimp, white dish, octopus, and crab. Overall the sushi was good and pretty fresh. The prices are in the middle for sushi places, which for the quality of the fish makes it a pretty good deal.
Overall I enjoyed eating at Endo sushi. The fish was fresh, the service was good, and I had a good experience.
