I can’t say I’m familiar with the Frenchman known as Zimmer.  However, I love his selection of nu-disco.  Especially, the rework of Mtume’s “Juicy Fruit” by Doctor Dru and Adana Twins.  Speaking of reworks, Toro Y Moi’s homage to Cherrelle and Alexander O’Neal’s “Saturday Love” is top flight as well.  Enjoy this week’s Electric Thursday pick (via the Soundcloud player below) and download the mix here.
