Dupont Down Under Turned into an Art Gallery?

Back in 1996 someone had the Idea of a food court under the circle needless to say it was pretty short lived. Though not necessarily a bad idea but it was not executed very well. It is over 100,000 square feet and they are thinking of turning into an art gallery and an event space. The Arts Coalition for Dupont Underground is proposing this change and you can check out their website here. The city is planning to put a request for proposal for the area which is really cool. I think it will be a great thing for our beautiful city. It would really provide one extra cool thing to see and visit!
