
DC’s Capital Food Fight 2009 is an exciting Event that just looks like a wonderful time. Their are 5 Fantastic local chefs entered in this competition and it looks like fun. The tickets cost 150$ bucks before October 9th and 175 afterwords. It takes place on Wednesday November 11th 2009. The event begins at 6:00 and goes on until about 8:30. The five chefs are Barton Seaver a DC native who help found restaurants such as Hook, Bar Pilar, and Tackle Box. Michael Mina who helped found Bourbon Steak. Mike Isabella who runs THINKfoodGROUP’s Zaytinya and other restaurants around the United States. Tracy O’Grady who is the Executive Chef/Co-Owner of Willow. Last but not least is Bobby Varua who came to DC as the Excecutive Chef of 701 Restaurant. Bobby Varau apparently dropped out and Bryan Voltaggio from Volt will be taking his place.
There will be many celebrity guest that include José Andrés, Anthony Bourdain, Ted Allen, Ted Leonsis, Eric Ripert, Carla Hall, and Jonathan Umbel. If you are a foodie like me you have to check this one out!
