Tonight after midnight you will now be able to talk on your beloved cellphone in over twenty stations across the Nations Capital. Whether this is a good or bad thing depends on you. I think its a good move for the metro and allows for most cellphones to be used (AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile) . This will create extra money for metro (which it badly needs) and will allow them to make future improvements. This also allows for people with cellphones other than Verizon to be able to talk in the limited stations. This a great and they actually are doing it in a timely manner which is not usually for Metro. We wrote an article in the past about it featured (here). The following DC metro stop will now have serivice as of midnight tonight!
Ballston, Bethesda, Columbia Heights, Crystal City, Dupont Circle, Farragut North, Farragut West, Federal Center SW, Foggy Bottom-GWU, Friendship Heights, Gallery Pl-Chinatown, Judiciary Square, L’Enfant Plaza, McPherson Square, Metro Center, Pentagon, Pentagon City, Rosslyn, Smithsonian and Union Station.
