Capital Q Texan BBQ

I was walking around Chinatown recently and happened to come across Capital Q Texan BBQ. I had never really noticed it, but then again most of the time I am in Chinatown it is at night. When you walk in this place has a cool sort of Texan feel. There are dollar bills all over the wall which people have signed, to signify their love for Capital Q. It gives me the sense that  people really love this place. This place is all about BBQ and from the moment you walk in you can smell it.

I went to Capital Q on a Sunday and I was pretty darn hungry. I check out their menu and was immediatly intrigued by a taco with pulled meat and a topping. I decided to get pulled chicken and and corn wrapped in a football sized soft taco. I also got a side of potato salad. My soft taco was fantastic, it was full of flavor and goodness. The BBQ sauce and southwest corn topping went great together. The potato salad was good, but I have had better. I got all this food and a drink for under 9 dollars which is super cheap in Chinatown.

Overall I really enjoyed Capital Q and will be going back. The price is super reasonable and the food is really good. I have never been to Texas so I can’t say their BBQ is authentic, but I can say it is some of the best BBQ I have ever had.
