I woke up this morning and was seriously craving bagels. My girlfriend and I decided to walk up to Courthouse and checkout Brooklyn Bagel Bakery. We walked into the Bakery and I was immediately surprised by the amount of people who were inside. The place looks great inside and it is full of character. There are roughly ten tables inside without about seven outside. Everything is made to order and your food is usually ready in minutes. Having said that it can sometimes be a little confusing when eating in there.
The menu is quite interesting in itself, it is full of interesting items from bagels with cream cheese to bagel sandwiches. My girlfriend got the BLT bagel and I got the Park Slope sandwich. The BLT sandwich was a beautiful feast of food art. It tasted magnificent. The bagel was soft and the ingredients were fresh and crunchy. The chewiness of the bagel was quite tasty when combined with bacon, lettuce, and tomato. The Park Slope consisted of cheese, chiabatta bread, roast beef, thousand island dressing, roasted red peppers, and onions. My sandwich was another tasty piece of goodness. The bread was chewy and tasted perfectly with the ingredients. We both got coffee as well which was good as well the coffee was smooth and not burnt. The best part of Brooklyn Bagel Bakery is that its reasonably priced. My girlfriend and I left full and not thirsty for about 16 bucks!
Overall this place is pretty awesome. They make some of the best bagels and sandwichs in the area and sell them for a reasonable price. Unfortunately its hard to find deals like this in Arlington anymore so take advantage of it!
