Critically-acclaimed chef and restaurateur Bobby Flay opened up shop in Washington DC sometime this spring and I’ve been wanting to try his burgers.
Let’s get straight to the point: it’s cool, casual, and damn those burgers are really really tasty. Meat can be ordered in old-fashioned beef, turkey, or chicken. Milk shakes are addicting and I’m anxious to try the ones with alcohol (it was a school night). Sweet potato fries are served with a delicious fry sauce and the regular fries are well, regular. I love the fries at Five Guys so I’m a bit partial to the boardwalk style with old bay seasoning (you know I’m right!). My friend ordered the LA Burger and I had the Miami. I didn’t get a chance to try his but mine (ordered medium) was phenomenal. The meat was cooked perfectly and it makes my mouth water thinking about how delicious it was. They have a host of different sauces and I’m still curious to know what’s in the burger sauce… I wasn’t impressed.
This place is straight up good and I’m definitely coming back. Here’s another review from the Washingtonian.
