I decide to go biking around the city with some friends this Saturday and I really enjoyed it. It really makes you realize how beautiful Washington D.C. is. Their are many places to rent bikes in D.C. , but I really enjoyed the service and quickness of Big Wheel Bikes D.C.. The Bikes run about 7.00 an hour depending on the type, or 35 dollars for the whole day.Another great reason to use Big Wheels is the fact that it is so easy to get to the trails from there. All you have to do is shoot under the bridge right onto the trail at the Rock Creek Parkway. If you are a novice rider I really recommend that you do not ride through the the middle of the city as it can be a bit nerve racking. You should start with the trails and build up to riding on the streets. If you are looking for something new and active to do you should definitely try some bike riding.

FWIW, Big Wheel Bikes is the worst shop I’ve ever encountered. Incompetent, dishonest, and downright deceitful – I’ve seen them in action, and wouldn’t send anyone there. Skip this place.
