I have been going to Amphora since I was a child and I was always in love with everything about this place. It is open 24 hours they serve a variety of Greek and American food, and it has always had a great family feel. I went back recently with my father to spend some quality time together.

This place is divided into two different dining experiences. When you walk in their is a fine dining restaurant on the left and a diner style restaurant on the right. It has been around for over 30 years and is still popular. We ended up sitting in the diner this time as we wanted a quick bite. They also have a wonderful bakery which makes a large assortment of cakes and pies which are displayed when you walk in. One thing to know about Amphora is that they have quite an extensive menu that can be overwhelming at times. Luckily I have been there before so I went right for the Gyro my favorite combination of lamb and beef. You can see it on the right as a large and beautiful concoction of Gyro and Fries. The tzatziki sauce was thick and creamy which added the extra flavor to this wonderful meal. It really made me realize how much I missed this place and need to go back more often. As you can see from the portions size are quite generous.
